The North Texas Irish Festival has completed another year. Several IAS members were on hand to explain the various events and projects of the Irish American Society. Co-chairs this year were Les & Denise Foley and Larry & Sheila Balagna.
Raffle chances were available for a basket that included whiskey, Trinity Hall gift cards, CDs, and books. A special thanks to Bill Burke, Tullamore representative and Bill Dohm, our Irish Person of the year for contributing whiskey, Marius Donnelly for his contribution of gift cards for Trinity Hall, and Patricia Falvey for two of her books. The winner for the raffle basket was Betty D’Arcy.
This year, a special drawing was held for children. Two small baskets were given away on both Saturday and Sunday. The children and their parents enjoyed this giveaway.
