The SCMA and School of Irish Music sponsored a Celtic Christmas concert on Sunday Nov. 23, 2014 at the Browlee Auditiorium in Garland. Those able to get tickets to the sold out performance were entertained with dancing, singing and some interesting Celtic stories. Danny O’Flaherty, International Irish singer and Jason Hays, two time world Irish dancing champion were two of the stars contributing to the enjoyable afternoon.
Tim Kennedy of the School of Irish Music, who recently became a member of the IAS, made presentations to various organizations who promote the Irish heritage. Larry and Sheila Balagna, Co-Presidents of IAS received the award which will be on view at Trinity Hall Pub in Dallas.
