To our members who have already donated items for this Silent/LiveAuction, the Tx Rose Committee is very grateful! As you know, this event is to help the 2018 Rose with expenses for her trip to Ireland in August, and participation in the International Rose of Tralee Festival, Tralee, Co Kerry.

Come join us for a wee bit and if you need to pay your annual dues Kathy Moore and new President Phyllis Wells will be onsite to renew you. For our friends up north that have a hard time battling the traffic to Dallas, join Angela Kelso at The Celt and be entertained by former members of The Irish School Of Music, who have created a lively group for your listening pleasure. They are really good!!

WINE AND ROSES-Come support the Texas Rose of Tralee with a huge auction held at the Trinity Hall located at Mockingbird Station. We are helping our new Texas Rose, Kimberly Corser, by raising money to assist her in her travels to Ireland in August for the International Rose of Tralee Festival. Wear your Stetsons to give Kimberly a Texas-sized send off. Donations are accepted by Sheila Dohm 214-793-4139 and Julie Haggerty. You can bring items to Sheila the day of the auction if you want.

Our book for June 5 is “In the Company of Others”, by Jan Karon, who is the bestselling author of the Mitford Series. This novel, taking place in Ireland, reminds us of our desperate need to be heard and the reconciliation that comes with confession.

General Business Meeting.
We are having a pizza party. BYOB or enjoy white and red wine and beer compliments of the IAS. Cost to members is free. Guests will be charged $20.
Location will be The Tuscany Italian Bistro, 743 Brick Row, Richardson Texas.
Exit Spring Valley to the east off Hwy. 75 Central Expressway. One block on the left.
Membership fee is due July 1 for the new fiscal year. Single memberships are $35 and family memberships are $45. We will have greeters at the door who will help you get signed up for the coming year.
Voting for new officers. A nominating committee has been formed to help us select next years officers. If you would like to serve as a Board Member, please contact Debbie Perry at 214-603-8854.
Auctioning off the old flags. We are retiring our parade flags and have purchased new parade flags. As a way to help fund the purchase of our new flags, we will have a silent auction of the retiring flags.
